Shipping & Returns

Delivery time 

Our normal delivery time from order to delivery is 3-5 business days within EU or 5-7 business days outside the EU (Mon-Fri). You will receive an email with shipping confirmation and tracking number when your package leaves our warehouse.  

Partial delivery: In order for you to receive your goods as quickly as possible, your order may be divided into several shipments. In that case, you will receive a separate email with a link to a tracking number for each package. Our system determines from order to order whether it is possible to make part delivery. We offer this delivery method to provide you with an even better service that is both faster and more flexible. 
 
Our goal is to ship all orders within 3-5 business days of ordering within EU or 5-7 business days outside the EU. From shipment, it takes 3-5 business days within EU or 5-7 business days outside the EU, as the package must be from our warehouses across Europe. For very large orders, the delivery time may be longer. 

Delivery costs 

At Hilstor, delivery is free with purchases of at least DKK 300 and with standard delivery. If the order is below the minimum amount, the delivery costs will be as per given options during last step of purchase. 

For an original purchase amount of less than DKK 300, the delivery fee will not be refunded upon return. 

If you cancel goods from an order and the value falls below DKK 300, you will still pay the delivery fee.  

Delivery to the Parcel Shop 

With delivery to Parcel Shop, you can pick up your parcel when it suits you. When you enter your address in connection with an order, you will automatically see the nearest parcel shops. Please note that the Package shop here is only available during the store's opening hours. 

When your package is ready to be picked up, you will receive your personal PIN codes for the parcel shop. You can see how far your package is on the link to track & trace that is in the shipping confirmation. 

Home Delivery 

Home delivery is a door-to-door delivery service, which means that the package is delivered to your home. 

1. Enter the necessary contact information (also enter your telephone number to receive a message before the order arrives on the day of delivery) 

2. As confirmation of your order, Shipping company will send you an email or SMS with information about your delivery 

With FedEx, UPS, and DHL, depending on the service chosen, the courier will try 2-3 times to deliver or take the products to a collection point where the recipient can pick up the order. All couriers, in case of non-delivery, leave a notice for the recipient with instructions on how to proceed to collect the package. In case an order is not picked up, the item is returned to us, and we deduct 45€ from the refund.

Damaged package? 

We apologize, but we hope the items you ordered are complete and undamaged. 

If the damage has only affected the shipping packaging itself, and you would like to return something from the order, then you can simply use a different wrapping. The only requirement is that the returned goods are packed properly. 

Remember to use the enclosed return label. Please note that we are not liable for damaged shipping packaging. 

Items packed together in one package 

Most of the cases, you can have several items sent together in one package. If this is the case, you will be informed in advance in the shipment confirmation email that you will receive when your order (s) are shipped. 
 
We want to bring your ordered items to you as quickly and environmentally friendly as possible - nothing regarding the usual procedure changes for you. If you are in doubt when you receive your Hilstor package, we recommend that you check the contents of the package. If you are not sure which items belong to which order, then you can see it in your customer account.

Return of Goods 

We offer a 14-day return policy counting from the day you receive your parcel. To ensure a smooth return process, please keep these guidelines in mind: 

Ship the return back within 14 days of receiving your order and make sure to use a shipping method with an active tracking number. 

Please send your return using UPS, FedEx, or DHL. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns sent via regular postal services, and such returns will be declined. 

To initiate a return, simply submit a return request through your Hilstor Account. 

If you cancel a purchase, you will get your money back. If the value of the article is reduced, we will deduct the amount you are liable for.  

We refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (which does not apply, however, to extra delivery costs if you have chosen a form of delivery other than the cheapest standard form of delivery which we offer), not later than 14 days from the day when we have received your notification that you want to cancel the agreement.  

We will return the money by the same means of payment which you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed. 

We may hold back the payment until we have received the article, unless you send documentation that you have returned it.
